XII DIOCESAN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

By the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the XII Diocesan Leadership Conference will be hosted by The Mar Thoma Church, Philadelphia on Jan 8 - 11, 2009. The theme of the conference is "EKKLESIA: Called to be the BODY", based on Ephesians 3:10-11: “His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms, according to His eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

The purpose of this conference is to train, encourage, and foster the growth of the youth of the Mar Thoma Church in the principles of Christian discipleship, servanthood, and leadership. All of these principles play an important role for us in functioning properly as the Body of Christ. There will be five main tracks focusing upon the following themes: Accountability/Mentoring, Church History and Reformation, Liturgy, Missions, and Perseverance Through Suffering.
